This site is focused on Adam's musical activities. For his adventures in music technology see ++Audio and his CCRMA page.

Adam began producing electronic music in 1998 with the psychedelic trance act Fungus Amungus and the experimental noise trio Whack Ass Duo. He studied music technology at the University of Michigan, CalArts and Stanford University (CCRMA), duing which time he wrote and performed electroacoustic music, instrumental music, soundtracks, and Javanese Gamelan. Also during this time he co-founded the drone project The Sweat Shop Boys with Sean Price and became a member of the noise act the Dog of Tears Orchestra led by David Cohen. His instruments of choice are analog modular synthesizer and custom software.

Currently Adam is focused on drone and ambient music.

Though he emerged from an academic and conceptual art environment Adam maintains no connection with any particular school of thought. He wishes to dispel any perceived stigma of pedigree or elitism with respect to musical aesthetics. To him, the experience of listening is more visceral than cerebral, and his music is completely indulgent in its effort to reach for the sublime.
